Housefull 5 is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language comedy thriller film co-written and directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala and Firuzi Khan under production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It marks the fifth installment of the Housefull franchise.
The film features an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer and Johnny Lever. A murder mystery comedy, the film follows multiple imposters who claim to be the son of a recently deceased billionaire as they compete for his fortune while aboard a luxury cruise ship.
Released on June 6, 2025, the film features two distinct versions, each showcasing a different climax sequence: Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B.

On his extravagant 100th birthday celebration aboard a luxury cruise, billionaire Ranjeet Dobriyal suddenly dies of a heart attack. His unexpected death sends shockwaves through his inner circle, especially his son Dev and members of the Board of Directors. Fearing a stock market crash and business fallout, Dev decides to keep Ranjeet’s death under wraps. Things take a bizarre turn when Ranjeet’s lawyer reveals the tycoon’s will: the sole heir to his massive fortune is 'Jolly,' the son from his first marriage. But confusion erupts when not one, but three men nicknamed Jolly: Jalabuddin, Jalbushan, and Julius, claims to be the rightful heir. To settle the dispute, Dev proposes a DNA test, with results expected the following morning. Meanwhile, guests on Ranjeet’s exclusive list enjoy a wild night on the cruise; only to wake up next day with no memory of the previous night’s events. Tension hits a boiling point when the doctor, who was expected to reveal the DNA results, is found murdered. Suspicion falls squarely on the three Jollys and their wives. Dev orders all six suspects to be imprisoned in the cruise ship’s lockup rooms while waiting for Interpol. Enter Baba and Bhiddu, two eccentric and recently suspended cops desperate to reclaim their badges by solving the case. As they dig into the mystery, the cruise turns chaotic, with a string of bizarre mishaps and even more murders. Now, with secrets unraveling and everyone a suspect, the race is on to uncover the murderer as well as the true heir before it's too late.
The film is introduced in two prints named Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B with multiple endings; each featuring a different prime murderer accompanied by Jalbhushan as their companion in both prints.
